Texts pause; the waitlist never stops. Guests fall back to their live page, which was the channel of record anyway. We warn you on the list days before it happens, not after.

Whatever you have. The host list runs in any browser — the stand's computer, a phone in an apron pocket, the bar iPad. The door tablet is optional and it is any tablet you own.
No. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial, and the trial takes a card so nothing stops on day fifteen. Unlimited parties and unlimited host devices are on both — the only choice between them is whether you want the tables too. If a payment ever fails you drop to a limited free account, texts off and a daily cap on parties, rather than being locked out of your own list.

The list keeps working on the device in front of you and syncs when the connection returns. Guests whose phones go quiet are called out on their row so you can shout the name the old way.
Month to month, yes — the plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for. On the annual rate you have committed to twelve months, and leaving early owes back only the discount you already took on the months you used, never the rest of the term. Either way your list, your history and your door code stay where they are.
